The Wildschwein is a Personal Trooper developed as an intermediate between the Gespenst Mk-Is and the Huckebein. Compared to the Gespensts, the Wildschwein has been enhanced in all aspects, including mobility, agility, flexibility, armor, and overall offensive power. The large back-mounted thrusters grant the Wildschwein with superior jumping and gliding capabilities compared to the Gespenst Mk-Is, while the Circle Zanber prototype weapon increases the PT's close-combat ability.
Alpha Series[]
The Wildschwein was rolled out some time before September NAD 183 for data collection, piloted by Ingram Plissken of the PTX Team. It did not make an appearance in any Alpha games.
OG Series[]
A successor to the early Gespensts, the Wildschwein was initially planned to become the TFF's next mainline Personal Trooper. The newly-developed Plasma Generator created from EOT knowledge has been installed into the mecha, supplying the Wildschwein with a reliable and powerful energy output. However, the Wildschwein's high performance ended up making it somewhat hard to control for normal pilots. Coupled with the costly Plasma Generator, the Wildschwein ultimately never entered mass-production (except for in OGIN).
During the outbreak of the DC War, the Wildschwein was delivered to Izu Base and assigned to SRX Team commander Ingram Plissken.
SRW OG1/SRW OGs1[]
The Wildschwein made its debut during the battle to cover the Hagane's launch at Izu Base from a DC assault. It was then transferred to the Hagane and was piloted by Ingram for the remainder of the DC War and throughout the early stages of the L5 Campaign, up until his defection back to Aerogator forces, as he switched to the R-Gun.
SRW OG2/SRW OGs2[]
The Wildschwein was temporarily piloted by Viletta Vadim to oversee the mock battle between the R-Blade and the Grungust at Izu Base, before having to defend the base from an attack by remnant DC forces. As usual, the Wildschwein is once again stationed on the Hagane after the Space Noah ship arrived to provide support.
SRW OGs2.5/SRW OGG[]
The Wildschwein was stored within the Hagane during the events of SRW OGs2.5/SRW OGG.
This game marks the final appearance of the Wildschwein.
SRW OGDW[]
In the Divine Wars anime timeline, following Ingram's betrayal, the Wildschwein was passed on to Ryouto Hikawa and adjusted for his use.
SRW OGIN[]
In The Inspector anime timeline, the TFF Army managed to afford for the mass-production of the Wildschwein as the next mainline PT.
Armaments[]
Beam Sword (ビーム・ソード)
A beam-based melee weapon which draws energy from the PT's reactor. Swappable Weapon.
M950 Machine Gun(M950マシンガン)
Standard Personal Trooper machine gun. Its design is based on the real-life Calico M950 Submachine Gun. Swappable Weapon.
M13 Shotgun (M13ショットガン)
Standard Personal Trooper shotgun. Albeit with a lower ammo capacity, the M13 packs higher firepower compared to the M950. The scattering rounds used by the Shotgun can hit multiple enemies and is more capable of guaranteeing a direct hit on the enemy. Its design is based on the real-life shotgun of same name. Swappable Weapon.
Photon Rifle (フォトン・ライフル)
A handheld rifle that fires photon particles, same type used by the Huckebein Mk-II. Seen equipped in Divine Wars.
Rectangle Launcher (レクタングル・ランチャー)
A large, box-shaped handheld long-range cannon, same type used by the Mass-Production Huckebein Mk-II. Seen equipped in OG2/OGs2. Swappable Weapon.
Circle Zanber (サークル・ザンバー)
The Wildschwein's signature weapon, a circular beam emitter fixed on the left forearm, installed with 6 separate beam generators which together form a ring of beam when activated. Highly effective in close-range combat. The weapon is the prototype version of the Huckebein's Leap Slasher.
