Super Robot Wars Operation Extend was released on July 18, 2013. It diverted from traditional format as it released paid DLC Chapters, due too unknown reasons Operation Extended was never finished only releasing 8 chapters. It also introduced Zoids, Patlabor, and Sergeant Frog for the first time to the series. OE also diverted from tradition in many aspects such as unit acquisition as units would be acquisitions after a certain point. OE diverted in lore and story telling and leaving out important details. OE is unpopular with fans due too it diverting from the norm and it’s paid aspects.
