- Most Macross 7 units can change forms
- 2 of Banpresto's Original Fabularias and Studium come from Ruina, Fabularias comes from Joshua Radcliffe's route and the other from Cliana Rimskaya's route.
- Vayaete and Mercurius's designs are then passed down to mass produced OZ mechas (Virgo, Virgo II)
- Tower, Battle 7, Ra Kalium are the only units that can have units inside for repairs and EN restore. They are mostly refered as battleships.
- V Gundam and Hexa later on in the game will recieve 2 blasters on its shoulder and be renamed as V Gundam Dash. This can be reverted back to normal in the menu screen.
- Sibil is the piliot itself in a protective sphere, instead of a robot to explode instead it shows sibil knocked out (sadly it's HP is around 500).
- Spazers are able to combine with the Grendizer for extra combat skills such as the ability to fight underwater, underground, and high speeds
- Black Getter has a similar appearance to the Getter 1 and both will perform 2 combination attackss
- FBz-99 Zaubergern's pilot, Gabil is able to call his monster for 2 attacks
- V2 Gundam will receive adjustments/ parts such as a huge body armor and a large cannon on the right shoulder. There will be 4 modes to V2 Gundam (the 4th mode is the one unit with the most attacks in the whole game: V2 Assult Buster Gundam)
- Hamaan's Quebeley is a rare unit to obtain.
