Gundam Zephyranthes Full Burnern (Super Robot Wars F)
GP-01Fb is a mobile suit prominently featured in Mobile Suit Gundam 0083: Stardust Memory. It is an upgraded version of RX-78GP01 Gundam "Zephyranthes".
This mobile suit is the first prototype of the Gundam Development Project after being enhanced. Therefore instead of Gundam Zephyranthes, this is the enhanced Gundam Zephyranthes Full Burnern. This is part of the Universal Century universe in Mobile Suit Gundam.
Overview[]
While overall a subpar real robot, GP-01Fb boasts extremely high movement without a need to combine with a support unit (as in the case of Super Gundam). This allows the unit to easily maneuver around the map to occupy terrains, flask enemies and seize objectives. If equipped with Flight Module, the mech becomes extremely useful at acquiring treasures/spoils that may be left or hidden around the map.
While it is incapable of fighting against super robots or bosses, the mech is capable enough to finish off weakened enemies. This is exemplified the most in Masaki's route in Super Robot Wars EX, where Kou Uraki's Luck skill multiplies both EXP and money gained upon a kill, making Kou a great choice to take down enemies. In subsequent games, the Gain skill allows Kou to catch up with the leading protagonists in terms of levels, keeping him relevant in the army until he acquires the much more powerful RX-78GP03 Gundam "Dendrobium",
In Super Robot Wars 4 and F/Final, GP01-Fb is also notable for having superior base accuracy compared with other mobile suits, making it effective in prolonged battles against the agile Aura Battler enemies. While it lacks powerful bullet based weapons, its Vulcan has high ammo counts and is sufficient at damaging flying enemies if upgraded.
