Philadelphia Judecca Gozzo is a fictional character in the Super Robot Wars series. He has appeared as an enemy character in Super Robot Wars Alpha 3 only.
Philadelphia Judecca Gozzo is the commander of the Ze Balmary Empire's sixth fleet, commonly referred to as the Philadelphia Fleet. Like the rest of his Judecca Gozzo brothers, he is the sixth Judecca Gozzo clone of Euzeth Gozzo, and takes after him in appearance. The only recognizable difference between him and his brothers is that Philadelphia's hair is blue. However, unlike most of his brothers, Philadelphia knows the empire is collapsing within itself, through the corruption of its politicians, and is willing to go to any length in order to prevent such an outcome. While he detests most of the empire's leaders, he holds great respect for Baran Doban.
When the Alpha Numbers make their way to the Balmar homeworld, hoping to seek an audience with Ruach Gan Eden at the imperial city, Philadelphia would be one of the city defenders. Ruach would be defeated, along with Shiva Gozzo, inside the imperial palace. Though it would seem the Balmarian threat was over, a massive meteor shower was headed directly for the planet. Philadelphia would have his fleet evacuate the citizens and flee Balmar with the Alpha Numbers, just as the catastrophic shower destroyed the planet. He, his brother Sardis, Baran, Princess Almana Tiqvah and Luria Kayitz would now be the ones to lead the survivors and restore the empire to its former status, before its corruption crippled it.
Etymology[]
Like many Balmarians, whose names are of Hebrew origins, Philadelphia's name is derived from the church of Philadelphia, one of the seven churches mentioned in the Book Of Revelation.
