The Mass-Production Huckebein Mk-II (量産型ヒュッケバインMk-II | Ryousangata Huckebein Mk-II) is a Banpresto Original Mecha debuting in Super Robot Wars Alpha Gaiden. Part of the Huckebein Series, it is developed from the Huckebein Mk-II. Select units will be developed into the Bergelmir, Sniper PT (OG) and Pfeil III (OG).

Technological & Historical[]

The Mass-Production Huckebein Mk-II is designed as a toned-down and cheaper variant of the high-performing Huckebein Mk-II, aimed towards mass-production and deployment as a mainstay unit.

Alpha Series[]

In Alpha, this is a cost-cutting version of the Huckebein Mk-II intended for mass production as the Earth Federation Army's new mainstay PT. Visually, the Mass-Production Mk-IIs look exactly the same as the old Mk-II, and only lacks their predecessor's special built-in systems and G-Impact Cannon. Still boasting high performance and mobility despite the tone-down along with low production costs, the MP Huckebein Mk-II was selected over the Mass-Production Grungust Type-2 As the SRX Project had been frozen, the production of the MP Mk-IIs were carried out by the EFA themselves.

SRW Alpha Gaiden[]

Ryuusei Date can obtain one unit if the difficulty of the game is at "Normal" by stage 8. Mai Kobayashi will join the player team with another MP Mk-II at the penultimate stage of the game's Hard Route. Furthermore, several MP Huckebein Mk-IIs can be seen guarding the Moon Cradle in the Future World alongside Mass-Production Grungust Type-2s, while a select few other units have been mutated by Machine Cells into the Bergelmirs.

OG Series[]

In OG, the Mass-Production Huckebein Mk-II keeps its role in Alpha as a cheap mass-production unit, however it now has its own unique design instead of looking exactly like its prototype, lacking the V-fin and uses a visor-type camera, along with an ivory color scheme. To cut costs, it recycled the Gespenst's G2 Frame instead of the Huckebein Mk-II's H Frame. Despite not having the original's Gravi-Con System or T-Link System, the MP Mk-II is loaded with a Tesla Drive for aerial mobility and armed with a powerful Rectangular Launcher as standard equipment, and on top of that the Huckebein Mk-II's basic performance is still retained, making the MP Mk-II quite a formidable and proficient mass-production unit. Standard units have the ivory color scheme, while Inspector-made units are painted grey and units used by the New Guidance Corps are painted blue.

SRW OG2/SRW OGs[]

Its initial deployment at the start of OG2 was rather slow, with some units even ending up being stolen by the Neue DC or by the Inspectors (who then proceeded to mass-produce their own MP Mk-IIs based on the captured units), but eventually they entered mass deployment in large numbers by the TFF. Some units were also piloted by members of the Special Tactics Guidance Corps and stationed on the Hagane.

SRW OGG[]

The blue-colored units of the New Special Tactics Guidance Corps were seen in OG Gaiden, piloted by Arado Balanga and Seolla Schweitzer. Along with the Astelion AX, Wildraubtier, Grungust Type-3 and Lamia Loveless' Guarlion Custom, they were pitted against the next competitor for the TFF's mainstay PT, the Mironga.

A handheld close-combat knife originally developed for the R-1, it is also seen equipped on Arado Balanga's MP Mk-II when he took part in defending the Taussenfuessler carrying the unfinished Huckebein Mk-III that was trying to escape from Mao Industries' Moon facility.

  • M90 Assault Machine Gun (M90アサルトマシンガン)

A handheld machine gun loaded with an under-barrel anti-PT grenade. Originally developed for the Wildwurger and Wildwurger Type-L, it is also seen equipped on Arado Balanga's unit in the Moon facility battle.

  • Boost Hammer (ブーストハンマー)

A rather rudimentary weapon, it is essentially a giant flail with spikes and thrusters built into the ball for additional damage. Seen equipped on Arado's unit in the Moon facility battle, it can be permanently obtained if conditions are met.
