Getter Robo Armageddon (真(チェンジ!!)ゲッターロボ~世界最後の日 Chenji Gettā Robo!!~Sekai Saigo no Hi), literally translating to Change! Getter Robo! The Last Day of the World, was an OVA released by Bandai Visual from August 25, 1998 to May 25, 1999, as a part of Getter Robo's 25th anniversary. This anime takes a darker and more violent approach to the Getter Robo Series, making it tonally more similar to the original manga rather than Toei's anime adaptations. Armageddon is also the primary Getter Robo series to see representation in Super Robot Wars' more recent titles.
