In all of its appearances, the Gespenst Mk-II serves as a successor to the Gespenst, and the prototype for the MP Gespenst Mk-II. Similar to its predecessor, it often exists as the Type-R and the Type-S.

4th SRW/4th SRW S[]
The Gespenst Mk-II first appeared in The 4th Super Robot Wars as an on-spot ally, an improved model of the Gespenst piloted by Gilliam Jaeger. It was playable for the stage "Mazinger Z Flies in the Sky" in 4th SRW S.
Alpha Series[]
Development of the Gespenst Mk-II began in New A.D 182, followed by the rollout of the Mass-Production Gespenst Mk-II in October NAD 183.
Compact/Impact Series[]
The Gespenst Mk-II was developed from the 3 prototype Gespenst units and around 30 machines were produced, however most of them were lost in previous wars. It was succeeded by the Alteisen and Weissritter.
SRW Impact[]
They were remanufactured by Einst based on data gathered from the captured Weissritter, replacing the Einst-made Gespensts in Compact 2.
OG Series[]
3 prototype Gespenst Mk-II units were made based on the first 3 Gespenst prototypes, the Type-R, Type-S and Type-T. They utilize a G2 Frame, an improved version of the Gespenst's G Frame. The Gespenst Mk-II won the trials for the TFF's next-generation mass-production Personal Trooper and was officially adopted by the TFF Army, followed by a Mass-Production variant being created.
Armaments & Attacks[]
Split Missile (スプリットミサイル)
Standard armament seen on the Gespenst Series, it is essentially a deployable missile container loaded with 6 missiles. After launching, the container's front cover is jettisoned and the missiles within fly towards their target. A pair of them can be mounted on the Gespenst's stabilizer pylon rack along with 2 Slash Rippers.
Neo Plasma Cutter (ネオ・プラズマカッター)
An upgraded version of the Gespenst's Plasma Cutters, 3 of them are mounted on the left forearm. In Impact, instead of Plasma Stakes, the Neo Plasma Cutters themselves are used to unleash the Jet Magnum attack.
Jet Magnum (ジェット・マグナム)
A punching attack using the mounted Neo Plasma Cutters to inject plasma into the enemy at close range. Only seen in Impact.
Mega Beam Rifle (メガビームライフル)
A powerful beam rifle used by the Gespenst Mk-II for ranged combat.
Slash Ripper (スラッシュリッパー)
Circular remote-controlled rotor weapons equipped with 3 folding blades, each installed with 3 vernier thrusters per side for a total of 6 maneuvering thrusters. They are deployed to slash enemies apart. A pair of them can be mounted on the inner side of the Gespenst Mk-II's stabilizer pylon rack along with 2 Split Missiles, though they do have dedicated containers.
