Chouki Taisen SRX (超機大戦SRX | Super Machine Great War SRX) is a Banpresto Original Series, debuting in Neo Super Robot Wars. The series itself would detail the battles of the SRX Team against the Balmarians, and was first incorporated into Neo SRW with the debut of SRX Team and Ze Balmary Empire. However, plans for a sequel to Neo SRW was scrapped, followed by bits of the storyline ending up in works such as Super Robot Spirits and Super Hero Operations. The full storyline of Chouki Taisen SRX was finally realized with the Alpha Series, starting from Super Robot Wars Alpha all the way to The 3rd Super Robot Wars Alpha: To the End of the Galaxy.
Chouki Taisen SRX is considered as its own series and given its own spot in copyrighted works title lists for SRW games.
