The BANPReEOTH (バンプレイオス), also known as SRX Altered (SRXアルタード), is a Banpresto Original Mecha from The 3rd Super Robot Wars Alpha: To the End of the Galaxy. It is the perfected version of the SRX.
Technical and Historical[]
The BANPReEOTH serves as the completed version of the prototype SRX. It's official name was supposed to be "SR Altered" due to no longer being an experimental prototype, however as Ryuusei wished to keep his old mech's name, it was changed to "SRX Altered". "BANPReEOTH" is also a name given to the Altered by Ryuusei and the robot is usually referred to by this name.
Previously assumed to be "Banpreios," it has been clarified to be "BANPReEOTH" with the "ReOTH" standing for "Reliable Extra Over Technological Hybrid Plan."
By utilizing the pilots' innate telekinetic abilities through the T-Link System, the BANPReEOTH can cross through dimensions with the XN Dimension phenomenon, often referred to as "Jigenzan" (次元斬 Dimensional Slash). It was originally supposed to be a combining Super Robot similar to its predecessor, however due to a shortage of time, the BANPReEOTH was built as a single, non-combining unit, albeit it is considerably larger and more powerful than the SRX. It was later modified from a three-seater to a four-seater mecha. The BANPReEOTH is still capable of using the Metal Genocider cannon, albeit due to the system differences with the SRX, an external "Ex-Gunner" unit is required to connect the Metal Genocider with BANPReEOTH's arm.

Development of the BANPReEOTH began around the same time as the SRX's, but was met with a lot of difficulties. Due to the SRX's Tronium being stolen by the Balmarians as well as slow progression in research of the XN Dimension, the BANPReEOTH could not be completed.
The problems relating to the XN Dimension were cleared with Irui Gan Eden's help. As time was running low, the planned combination system was omitted from the BANPReEOTH, turning it into a single non-combining Super Robot instead. It first rolled out to rescue Ryuusei and the other Alpha Numbers trapped within an ES Space using Mai's Jigenzan. When boarding BANPReEOTH, Ryuusei, who had lost his telekinetic powers after witnessing the defeat of SRX and Aya's presumed death (in fact she is still alive), had a thought about what telekinesis really is, and thus regained his powers, allowing him and Mai to initiate T-Link Contact. The BANPReEOTH was then used as a powerful force of the Alpha Numbers throughout the Galactic War, although it still wasn't exactly at its full potential yet due to lacking the stolen Tronium, only operating to about 60% of its hypothesized performance. Near the end of the war, at Mai's request, the R-3 section of the BANPReEOTH was modifed into a double-seater unit, allowing for up to four people to pilot BANPReEOTH, as Mai was anticipating Aya's return. After rescuing Aya from the Balmar homeworld as well as regaining the lost Tronium, the BANPReEOTH reached 100% performance, capable of using finishing weapons such as the S.Z.O Sword and H.T.B Cannon. Together with the Alpha Numbers, BANPReEOTH and its crew fought to the bitter end of the Galactic War. After the war ended, the robot was brought back to the Tesla Labs for repairs and further modifications, unlocking sealed functions and updating systems.
Armaments[]
- Telekinesis Missile HP (テレキネシス・ミサイルHP)
Similar to the R-3 Powered's Telekinesis Missile, aside from the fact that the back-mounted telekinetic-guided containers store numerous smaller explosive pellets instead of missiles. MAP attack.
- Hi-Palm Detonator (ハイパームデトネイター)
Spherical energy blasts fired from the BANPReEOTH's palm ports in succession.
- Gaun Genocider (ガウンジェノサイダー)
Similar to SRX's weapon of the same name, BANPReEOTH locks onto the enemy through T-Link Contact before unleashing a powerful energy blast from its visor. A split-second view of the Banpresto logo can be seen and the trademark Banpresto jingle can be heard when the beam makes contact with enemy.
- T-Link Blade Knuckle (T-LINKブレードナックル)
The BANPReEOTH generates blades of telekinetic energy from its fists before assaulting the enemy with said blades.
- Altered Full Burst (アルタード・フルバースト)
A continuous attack beginning with Rai firing BANPReEOTH's Hi-Palm Detonators on both hands, followed by Mai locking onto the target with the T-Link System before Aya bombards it with Telekinesis Missile HPs, and finally Ryuusei brings the finisher with a Gown Genocider blast. Multiple enemy attack.
- Tenjou Tenga Nendou Musou Ken (天上天下念動無双剣 Telekinetic Matchless Sword of Heaven and Earth)
This is Ryuusei's own name for BANPReEOTH's S.Z.O (Super Zol Orichalconium) Sword, formed from the two blades mounted on the robot's feet. With Ryuusei giving the signal, Rai deploys the two blades, followed by Aya and Mai initiating a Nendou Field through T-Link Twin Contact, materializing each half of the Nendou Musou Ken on each feet blade, before combining both halves together, the handle generating afterwards, completing the sword as it lands on the ground. With the Tronium Engine raised to Over-Drive, BANPReEOTH moves across the battlefield in a flash, picking up the gigantic sword and lunging it into the enemy. The two halves of the blade then open sideways, splitting the enemy apart, before closing back, as BANPReEOTH delivers one final finishing slash, with Ryuusei shouting "Ryuusei-Giri!" (流星斬り Meteor Slash). This is BANPReEOTH's ultimate solo attack.
- Tenjou Tenga Ichigeki Hissatsu Hou Kai (天上天下一撃必殺砲・改 One-Shot Certain Kill Cannon of Heaven and Earth Custom)
Also known as the H.T.B (Hyper Tronium Buster) Cannon. BANPReEOTH's ultimate attack with the R-Gun Powered. R-Gun Powered transforms into its Metal Genocider mode as Aya and Mai initiate a T-Link Twin Contact, surrounding the two robots in a Nendou Field. As the Ex-Gunner launches and docks with the Metal Genocider, Rai cranks the Tronium Engine up to Over-Drive, with BANPReEOTH taking hold of the cannon. After a final error correction by Mai, the firing handle emerges in front of Ryuusei (with the Banpresto logo appearing on the scoping monitor for a split second), which he takes hold of and pulls the trigger, unleashing a powerful green beam that obliterates anything unlucky enough to get caught in its firing path.
