Altis is a fictional character in the Super Robot Wars series and antagonist of Super Robot Wars Compact 3. In canon, he pilots the Maldict.

Personality and Traits[]
He's a member of the humanoid race, "Shura", who live only to fight. He's Folka's second brother-in-law in the Shura world. He's sworn complete loyalty to the Shura King, even though he has enough power to rival the king's. Maysis and him are very close, and they call each other by nicknames when they're alone. He was respected and loved to the point that his death was hard on most of the remaining Shura soldiers, especially Folka and Maysis.
History[]
Altis Tarl is a general of the Shura Army, regarded as one of the most powerful between the ranks of the Shura. Despite his status and strength, he is an honorable man and dislikes underhanded tactics, unlike Mizal. He forms a close bond with his fellow general, Maythis Mark, and is known as the sworn brother of both Folka and Fernando Albark.
In Compact 3, Altis found out about Mizal's foul play about brainwashing Fernando, and he collaborated with Maythis to wake Fernando up from the hypnosis. His part was to play along with Mizal's schemes to buy Maythis some time to find the cure. This pitted him against Folka, who defeated him in a fair match. With his dying breath, Altis inherits his will to stop Mizal and save the Shura race to Folka.
Altis reappears in Super Robot Wars Original Generation Gaiden, seen directly advising Folka, something he has never done in Compact 3. He was not killed in a fair fight, however, Altis was slain when protecting Folka from an attack by Duminuss' homunculi Tiz, which is later revealed as Arco in disguise.
