The Albatross is the Terra Federation's, as well as the United Colony Corps' primary space-use assault battleship. It has advanced commandeering facilities, along with excellent searching and aircraft managing capabilities, which is why it is often utilized as a flagship. A unique point of the Albatross lies in its 5 Beam Gunboats, which can be separately deployed to shoot down enemies, be used as oversized missiles themselves, or act as makeshift escape vessels for the crew to evacutate in.
The Macht is a grey-colored Albatross-class ship, serving as the flagship of the United Colony Corps. It is commandeered by Maier V. Branstein, Supreme Commander of the UCC.
SRW OG1 / SRW OGs1[]
Near the end of the DC War, the Macht took the lead of the UCC's primary fleet during the UCC army's Earth descent operation, with Maier overseeing the entire operation from his ship. Before they could enact the operation however, the fleet was intercepted by the Hiryuu Kai above Earth's orbit, leading to a final showdown between the Hiryuu Kai and the UCC fleet, eventually resulting in the Macht being shot down and pulled into Earth's gravity field. As the Macht burned up in the atmosphere, Maier ordered Lily Junkers to evacuate along with the rest of the crew, before entrusting the future of Earth to the Hiryuu Kai crew and resigning himself to his fate in his last words.
Record of ATX[]
In the Record of ATX manga, the showdown between the Macht and the Hiryuu Kai was more elaborately depicted. After breaching through many of the UCC's defense lines with its acceleration and Break Field, the Hiryuu Kai unleashed a Gravity Impact Cannon blast at the Macht, but the blast was blocked by the UCC Albatross-class ship Dresden, destroying said ship. The Macht retaliated by performing PBS Formation on the Hiryuu Kai, but the Hiryuu Kai managed to evade the beam barrage. Maier then ordered for the Beam Gunboats to be launched at the Hiryuu Kai, but they were all deflected by the Giganscudo. Cybuster emerged from the Hiryuu Kai's catapult and attempted to rush the Macht with Akashic Buster, but was thwarted by the suicidal attacks of several UCC Guarlion pilots. The two ships then made contact and directly grazed each other, with all turrets blazing on both sides. Finally, the Macht was shot down by a point-blank Bow Gravity Impact Cannon blast from the Hiryuu Kai, which also resulted in the destruction of 2 more UCC ships that were in the Hiryuu Kai's line of fire, putting to an end to the space theatre of the DC War.

Anti-air turrents used to intercept enemies within close proximity. They are mounted on the topside and underside of the Macht.

The Macht' most unique weapon, 5 of them are mounted surrounding the Albatross. They can be separately deployed to shoot down enemies in PBS Formation with their powerful beam cannons, used as oversized missiles themselves, or act as makeshift escape vessels for the crew to evacutate in. Multi-Beam Cannon is the OG1 name (used directly as the attack name) while Beam Gunboat is the retconned name featured in the SRW OG Gaiden Official Perfect Guide.
